Snacks & Treats
To make your own Fairy Cake, take any fairy picture into a major retail grocer and they will scan it and put it onto your birthday cake. These can also be tailored to the Princess, Pirate or Craft and Glamour themes as well.
Give each child their own cupcake to decorate with candy and sprinkles to turn into their very own "Fairy Cake" or buy your own special Fairy Cakes from your favorite bakery.These would also be fun for a craft party using edible glitter and paint brushes for the girls to create edible masterpieces.
For magic wand sandwiches, cut the center out of a sandwich with a star cookie cutter and then insert a gold pipe cleaner.
Serve some pink "Fairy Juice" (pink lemonade with a splash of raspberry sparkling water) in real teacups along with the magic wand sandwiches and the fairy cakes...the girls will love it!
Make “Salty Dogs” for your little pirates by turning simple hot dogs into pirate ships by adding a pirate sail on a tooth pick.
Serve “shark bait mix” by mixing together goldfish crackers, gummy fish, gummy worms and popcorn for a fun snack.
Make blue jello jigglers and suspend gummy fish in them to appear as if they are swimming in the sea.
Using a basic sugar cookie recipe or even buying premade dough use various themed cookie cutters (ie: crowns, stars, skulls, ships, lipstick, comb or brush, etc) and create personalized cookies for the kids to decorate and take home.
What to Wear
With our parties we provide an element of dress up but to go along with our costumes make these suggestions to your guests:
For a Fairy Fun Party, suggest that the girls wear a body suit or bathing suit under their party clothes to change into as it gives a lovely aesthetic to the fairy costume. Also have the girls in their body suit or bathing suit when the fairy arrives.
For the Princess Tea Party, suggest to your guests that they wear their favorite Princess costume or party dress or just something that makes them feel special.
For the Crafty Creations Party something fun and fabulous is always appropriate. Bright colors, fun patterns and lots of sparkles always make for a great look.
For a Boisterous Buccaneers Party an old ripped shirt and pants will work well with the Pirate costumes that your Pirate Captain will provide.
Additional Touches
Instead of filling an entire loot bag, consider giving each of your guests a signature gift that reflects the theme of the party (Fairy, Princess, Crafts and Glamour or Pirates) to say thank you for joining in the fun. A pair of fairy wings, a magic wand, a crown, a pouch of chocolate gold dubloons all make wonderful take home for your guests.
Another idea is a frame to hold a picture of them with your child as they are dressed as a fairy, a Princess or a Pirate. You can print off pictures at home before your guests leave or email them after the party.

Tips for a Successful Children’s Party
1. Have us come for the first hour of your party this way the kids are f
fresh, excited and ready for some fun!
2. Have your snacks and cake after your host leaves. Food can be a bit
of a distraction and we want the kids to get as much out of their
party experience as possible. They'll be ready for a snack once we
are finished.
3. Have a designated space for the children and your host to gather. A
family room or finished basement is ideal as it allows the host and the
children to sit together in a circle. Please note for The Pretty
Princess Tea Party and The Crafty Creation Party a table is
required.
4. Children’s parties are also a chance for the parents to enjoy some
social time, however, in order for the birthday girl and her friends to
get the most out of their party experience when you are bringing in
outsdie entertainment it is ususally best that parents have their time
together in a separte room. If you would like to stay and watch the
fun as well as capture some great pictures please feel free to do so
but please be aware of the noise level as it can be very distracting to
the children as well as your host.
5. With an interactive party provided by a party service so make sure
that your children are comfortable with characters and are going to
want to participate. We never force a child to take part in the
activities if they are not comfortable and are always respectful of
their boundries.
6. Have the birthday girl or boy help decorate the space for the party as
this helps them to feel like they are more of the process. Simple yet
effective decorations can be found at your local dollar store.
7. Have fun and have your camera ready as magical moments will be
ready to be captured.
